1. Overview
This policy explains how to return products purchased from tee-hub.com. It supplements, and does not reduce, mandatory consumer rights.
2. UK change-of-mind cancellations
A UK consumer buying online will usually have 14 days after the day of receipt to tell us that they wish to cancel an eligible purchase. If an order is delivered in separate instalments, the period normally begins after receipt of the last item or instalment.
Email [returns email] with a clear cancellation statement and the order number. After notifying us, return the goods within a further 14 days to:
[returns name and full postal address]
You may examine an item as you would in a shop. Please keep it clean, unworn beyond trying it on, unwashed, and with tags and packaging where reasonably possible. We may make a lawful deduction if unnecessary handling reduces its value.
3. Return postage
For a change-of-mind return, you pay the direct return cost unless we offered free returns or failed to tell you of that responsibility before purchase. We recommend obtaining proof of posting. For faulty, misdescribed, damaged or incorrect goods, contact us before returning so that we can provide appropriate instructions and bear reasonable return costs where legally required.
4. Personalised and made-to-order products
The statutory change-of-mind right may not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised. A generic print-on-demand production method does not automatically make an item personalised; describe accurately which products are customised for the individual customer. Rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods still apply.
5. Hygiene and condition
[If you sell sealed goods that genuinely fall within a statutory health-protection or hygiene exception, identify them precisely and explain that the exception applies only after unsealing. Do not describe ordinary T-shirts as non-returnable on “hygiene” grounds without specific legal advice.]
6. Faulty, damaged, misdescribed or incorrect items
Contact [support email] with your order number, a description and, where helpful, photographs. Goods must meet applicable legal standards, including being as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. Depending on the circumstances, a consumer may be entitled to reject the goods, or receive a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund. Any voluntary reporting period we mention does not replace statutory rights.
7. Exchanges
[Choose one option before publishing.]
- Option A: We do not process direct exchanges. Return the eligible item for a refund and place a new order.
- Option B: We offer size or colour exchanges subject to stock. Contact us at [returns email] for instructions. Any exchange service is additional to statutory rights.
8. Refund timing and method
For an eligible UK cancellation, we will make the refund without undue delay and normally no later than 14 days after we receive the returned goods or evidence that they were sent back, whichever is earlier. If no goods were supplied, the period normally runs from when we are informed of cancellation.
We will use the original payment method unless expressly agreed otherwise. We will refund the basic outbound delivery cost up to the price of the least expensive standard delivery option offered. Premium delivery upgrades are not normally refundable for a change of mind.
Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to display a processed refund.
9. International customers
Mandatory rights vary by country. If local consumer law gives you greater or additional rights, those rights are not excluded. Unless the item is faulty or local law requires otherwise, original shipping, return shipping, import duties and taxes may not be refundable. Ask the relevant authority whether import charges can be reclaimed.
10. Items bought elsewhere
Products purchased from a marketplace or another retailer must normally be returned through that seller under its process, unless applicable law or the marketplace arrangement states otherwise.
11. Contact
Email [returns email] and include your name, order number, item, reason for contact and requested remedy.
